From new hire happy hours to seasonal events like our summer party, we’re a group that knows how to have work hard and have fun.    What You’ll Accomplish The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for managing comprehensive project scopes and project plans while overseeing the execution of multiple digital projects on behalf of the client(s). He/She may work on multiple brands and will provide supervision and guidance to junior team members.   How You’ll Do It - Liaise with cross-functional team of Account Executives, Copywriters, Art Directors, Developers and Coordinators to fulfill client requests and expectations - Communicate regularly with clients on all key issues and project deliverables - Develop project estimates and project plans and oversee work produced by junior team - Prepare comprehensive project scopes (deliverables, schedules, budgets, etc.) - Develop critical issues documents; update and change as needed, communicate changes to the brand team - Ensure project status meetings happen regularly - Prepare billing and forecast income - Prepare functional specifications with project developers - Provide Client(s) with all production schedules and critical milestones - Mentor, coach and develop direct report(s) by creating individual development plans, providing on the job learning and ensuring attendance at relevant SSCGU courses - Lead complex projects (e.g. website redesigns) with minimal to no supervisions - Act in Account’s place if needed for simpler tasks such as leading client status meetings - Participate in all management courses offered by SSCGU, as assigned - Support and/or lead team or agency initiatives as assigned What You’ll Need to Do It - Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 5 years of interactive project management experience in an advertising agency or similar environment - Pharmaceutical advertising agency experience preferred, not required - Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on digital projects or digitally focused accounts - Solid understanding of interactive mediums such as responsive websites, banners, social media etc. - Strong understanding of development technologies and quality assurance processes - Superior verbal and written communication skills - Strong collaboration skills - Strong presentation skills; able to present ideas to brand teams - Previous experience managing one or more direct reports - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS Project - In person client travel is required   Where You’ll Go The Senior Project Manager role provides an opportunity to develop deep technical knowledge and financial management skills. Bilingual Senior Medical Copy Editors will be well versed in the science of their brands and that of the competitors, the client’s style, and AMA style. Title: Freelance VP, Bilingual Copy Supervisor Department/Discipline: Creative Competencies: Creativity, Customer Focus, Interpersonal Savvy, Perseverance   Responsibilities: - Writes and supervises solid, intelligent, brand-appropriate, creative pieces in a variety of communication forms (eg, websites, brochures) for patients in Spanish and in English - Supervises all copy in all communications related to his/her brand(s) - Creatively adapts English-language creative into Spanish in a way that is appropriate and native to the audience - Works with translation vendors when necessary to ensure the Spanish materials are of the highest quality in terms of translation accuracy, cultural relevance, utility, health literacy, readability, appeal, and consistency - Gives strong, clear direction to writers - Exhibits strong creative ability, as shown in ads/other forms of communication, created in partnership with an art director - Has an ability to understand and process healthcare information and communicate that information clearly in Spanish - Thoroughly understands his/her assigned brand(s)—indication, therapeutic implications, competition—and regularly researches trends in the appropriate area(s) - Contributes strategically to the long-term vision of the brand, internally and with client - Works well independently while always making sure that all creative work s/he writes or supervises is approved by supervisor/CD - Submits copy/concepts to supervisor and AE in a timely fashion, with enough time for revisions before copy goes to client - Leads teammates; maintains a strong relationship with Editorial, Art, and Account Services and follows agency procedures - Presents points of view articulately and persuasively within P&P and with client - Is the “brand champion.” Makes contributions to the success of his/her brand(s) that the client sees as meaningful and proactive. He/She may work on multiple brands and will provide supervision and guidance to junior team members.   How You’ll Do It - Liaise with cross-functional team of Account Executives, Copywriters, Art Directors, Developers and Coordinators to fulfill client requests and expectations - Communicate regularly with clients on all key issues and project deliverables - Develop project estimates and project plans and oversee work produced by junior team - Prepare comprehensive project scopes (deliverables, schedules, budgets, etc.) - Develop critical issues documents; update and change as needed, communicate changes to the brand team - Ensure project status meetings happen regularly - Prepare billing and forecast income - Prepare functional specifications with project developers - Provide Client(s) with all production schedules and critical milestones - Mentor, coach and develop direct report(s) by creating individual development plans, providing on the job learning and ensuring attendance at relevant SSCGU courses - Lead complex projects (e.g. website redesigns) with minimal to no supervisions - Act in Account’s place if needed for simpler tasks such as leading client status meetings - Participate in all management courses offered by SSCGU, as assigned - Support and/or lead team or agency initiatives as assigned - In person client travel is required What You’ll Need to Do It - Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 5 years of interactive project management experience in an advertising agency or similar environment - Pharmaceutical advertising agency experience preferred, not required - Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on digital projects or digitally focused accounts - Solid understanding of interactive mediums such as responsive websites, banners, social media etc. - Strong understanding of development technologies and quality assurance processes - Superior verbal and written communication skills - Strong collaboration skills - Strong presentation skills; able to present ideas to brand teams - Previous experience managing one or more direct reports - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS Project   Where You’ll Go The Senior Project Manager role provides an opportunity to develop deep technical knowledge and financial management skills.
