Background
The VP, Director of Experience Planning, as part of our Emerging Digital Group (EDG), leads a growing group of digital-first expertswho sit at the intersection of brand strategy, creative, and technology to deliver audience-centric experiences through the right channels, tactics, and partners. Our Experience Planners are anchored by tech trends, audience digital habits, digital platform knowledge & best practices, creative technology, and purposeful innovation.
In addition to a background in digital strategy (or a related role), you will need to have a keen interest and curiosity in emerging technologies/platforms. Together with other members of the Experience Planning team, you’ll help us chart the future of healthcare marketing and get other teams and our clients excited about it!
The VP, Director of Experience Planning position reports into the EVP, Chief Experience Officer.
What You’ll Do
- Entrepreneurship: Play a key role, alongside Experience Planning leadership,in keeping our agency ahead of the curve by evolving and building out our agency’s next generation digital strategy and innovation offering
- Team Leadership: Establish and mentor a growing team of Experience Planners while also tapping into enthusiastic, tech-forward agencyexplorers
- Core Digital Engagmentstrategy:
- Lead the development of digital channel strategies (eg email/CRM, web, etc) and tactical plans that meet our clients’ business goals, in partnership with brand strategy and creative teams
- Help brands develop more sophisticateddigital programs by planning and implementing more personalized and connectedecosystems (via multi-channel and Omnichannel)
- Partner with data analytics and team to providetactical insights/optimizations
- Innovation Strategy & Planning: Engage with emerging technologies and channels (AI, XR/immersive content, voice/audio tech, etc.)andidentify opportunities for us to introduce new processes, partners, and tactics into our work, leveraging your strategic prowess to navigate it all
- Thought leadership: Provide POVs, guidance, best practices, and inspiration to our clients and agency on emerging channels and technologies and other digital marketing trends.
- Creative thinking: Bring bold, novel, digital-first ideas to a wide range of client challenges to drive meaningful action
- Presentations: Create dynamic and compelling presentations that deliver digital strategy and new thinking into a clear story, across the agency as well as with clients
- Agency enablement: Build out partnerships, cross-brand resources, and processesthat allow clients and teams to get up to speed on digital trends/innovation and move quicker on digital opportunities
- New business growth: Play an active role in identifying and driving new opportunities and agency growth with inline brands and perspective clients

What You’ll Bring
- Advanced-level thinking as a digital strategist (or related role) with 12+ years of agency experience,preferably experience managing a small team

Overview: The Senior Copywriter is responsible for brainstorming ideas, developing concepts and producing brand specific messaging for print and digital deliverables with minimal oversight from the senior copy team. The Senior Copy Writer is an integral member of a cross functional team dedicated to creating work aligned with client’s brand strategy and the Patients & Purpose creative vision rooted in truth, beauty and courage.
Responsibilities:
- Write brand-appropriate, creative pieces in a variety of mediums; both online and offline (i.e. sales aids, resource guides, iPad apps)

- The VP, Associate Strategy Director will be responsible for developing strategic plans backed by data for our clients and internal teams manifesting into programs & campaigns for patients that better their lives.
- This position will work with and report into the SVP, Director of Strategy, to further enhance our patient-centric approach to produce marketing campaigns that win. By doing so you’ll greatly impact and add value to the lives of the patients we touch. In this position you’re expected to be data-savvy, an ongoing student of human behavior, and always seeking new ways of garnering insights.
Responsibilities:
- Insights: The best strategies start with the best insights. And the VP, Associate Strategy Director knows how to get them. The VP, Associate Strategy Directorwill be responsible for defining the right audience to target and everything we can find out about them. Expertise on gleaning insights from data sources inclusive of consumer behavior, channel usage, patient journey, social media, and culture is required. Equally as important are qualitative insights. The VP, Associate Strategy Directorwill lead the design and/or consultation with market research departments on methodology, discussion guides, and interpreting the results. When needed, moderate interviews and focus groups. Ownership of the data and insights from client sources (research) and internal data mining
- Strategy: The VP, Associate Strategy Directorwill be responsible for developing many different types of strategic deliverables. These can be complex recommendations for an entire marketing ecosystem considering the competitive landscape, audience data/qual insights, and the brand business needs. Often, the deliverable may be just a portion of something larger, such as a segmentation strategy or persona development. The aim is to become the strategic brand steward across multiple clients/brands by leading clients to develop and deploy breakthrough brand strategies
- Briefs: Briefs are the key tool that distills insights and crystalizes a singular strategy/approach to move forward. The VP, Associate Strategy Directorwill be responsible for developing Creative Briefs and consult on project briefs that will kick our teams into action. Throughout the process, the VP, Associate Strategy Director will collaborate with the Account, Creative, and PM teams to ensure the work stays on strategy.
- Workshops and patient experiences: TheVP, Associate Strategy Director will often be called on to develop workshops and other interactive/group participation experiences which tap into the collective wisdom and creativity of a team. VP, Associate Strategy Director will have the ability both lead with a point of view and actively listen to drive alignment across team and clients.
- New business: P&P is frequently involved in new business pitches, most of which require strategy involvement. The VP, Associate Strategy Director will be asked to join these efforts to lead the insight development process (data/qual), crystalize a Creative Brief, collaborate with creative to ensure concepts are on-brief, and prepare/present at the pitch.
- Thought leadership: Given the VP, Strategy Director’s role in integrated strategy, he/she will be responsible for developing POVs and blog posts on new trends, behaviors, and technologies, helping Patients & Purpose give our clients (and potential clients) valuable perspective and insight.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; 8+ years of agency experience or equivalent.
- Pharmaceutical or healthcare experience strongly desired with a fundamental grasp of the constraints and opportunities for marketing within the category
- The successful candidate will have holistic experience in brand strategy, including:

· Partner with a cross‐functional team of Account Executives, Copywriters, Art Directors, Developers, Editors and Coordinators to fulfill client requests and expectations

What You’ll Accomplish
You’ll be a successful manager and mentor who can jump into projects and run them end to end. You’ll be able to lead complex digital projects and supervise junior staff on smaller projects, while maintaining overall brand oversight. You will oversee the day to day financial activity of the brand and participate in and/or lead internal and client reconciliations and forecasting. You’ll be sensitive to team dynamics and proactively identify potential project and financial issues.
How You’ll Do It
- Create project estimates and timelines for large projects and review those created by junior staff
- Prepare comprehensive yearly brand scopes and obtain team approvals
- Prepare client billing, reconciliations, and forecasts with input from finance and account
- Monitor brand budgets and raise flags regarding overages
- Supervise junior project managers, providing general guidance and training as well as formal reviews
- Participate in client meetings, providing insights on critical timeline milestones, potential roadblocks, and financial information
- Liase with developers and 3rd parties to ensure all project specs and deliverables are being met
- Partner with brand leads from account and creative to ensure all deliverables are rolled out successfully, on time, and within budget
- Manage expectations and communications related to digital projects, identifying potential issues in advance, and offering solutions
- Ability to fill in for an Account partner if required
What You’ll Need To Do It
- 6+ years of digital project management experience in an advertising agency
- Pharmaceutical marketing experience is mandatory
- Fluency with multiple interactive mediums including websites, banners, social media, tablets, and apps
- Experience in a client facing role
- Strong MS Office, Project, and Excel skills
- Familiarity with multiple development platforms and operating systems
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes
- Superior communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Elite financial skills managing a portfolio of marketing/advertising tactics, including but not limited to estimating project costs, forecasting quarterly, and creating full brand staffing plans
- Experience managing direct reports
- Ability to handle multiple initiatives at once
- Ability to stay positive, calm, and motivational under pressure
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
Where You’ll Go
You will continue to provide digital, financial and project oversight with less involvement in day-to-day project activities. You will be looked as a leader within the department, overseeing your own book of business. You will continue to mentor and evolve your team, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration. Mastering GPS responsibilities prepares you to become a VP, Group Project Supervisor.

Title: Art Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Ability to build a brand visually from the ground up, including: developing color palettes, type families, illustration/photography style, point of view and more
- Ability to manage production of brand visuals (photo shoots, video shoots, working with illustrators)
- Supervise art direction as a liaison between Senior Art Director/Art Director and Creative Director. Act as an advisor to junior art staff

Responsibilities:
- Execute strategy, provide brand stewardship and maintain strong client satisfaction on assigned brand(s)
- Communicate client needs to all cross functional partners ensuring projects are on brief and in line with brand strategy
- Effectively present the agency’s recommendations, points-of-view, or strategy documents to clients, taking a leadership role in their preparation

- Experience working on digital projects or accounts with strong digital focus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
