Title: VP, Experience Planner

The VP, Experience Planning, as part of our Emerging Digital Group (EDG), partners with our healthcare clients to design modern, unified experiences for consumers, predominantly in digital. They know how to glean insights from data, and lead with both to create effective channel strategies and tactical plans that influence user behavior to meet our clients’ goals.

 

Our Experience Planning (XP) group is growing team of digital-first experts who sit at the intersection of brand strategy, creative, and technology to deliver audience-centric experiences through the right channels, tactics, and partners. Our Experience Planners are anchored by tech trends, audience digital habits, digital platform knowledge & best practices, creative technology, and purposeful innovation.

 

In addition to a background in digital strategy (or a related role), our VP, Experience Planning will need to have a keen interest in emerging technologies like AI and XR. Together with other members of the Experience Planning team, they’ll help us chart the future of healthcare marketing and get other teams and our clients excited about it!

 

The VP, Experience Planning position reports into the VP, Director of Experience Planning and Innovation.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Digital strategy: Lead the development of channel strategies and tactical plans that meet our clients’ business goals, in partnership with brand strategy and creative teams
  • Client counsel and leadership: Work alongside senior account, creative, and brand strategy teams to steer the direction of our work from an XP perspective – and provide ongoing guidance and insight to clients about the best courses of action
  • Innovation: Engage with emerging technologies and channels (AI, XR/immersive content, voice/audio tech, etc.) and identify opportunities for us to introduce new processes, partners, and tactics into our work, leveraging your strategic prowess to navigate it all
  • Thought leadership: Provide guidance on digital marketing trends, best practices, inspiration and proactive POVs on emerging channels or technologies to our clients and our agency.
  • Creative thinking: Bring bold, novel, digital-first ideas to a wide range of client challenges to drive meaningful action
  • Presentations: Create dynamic and compelling presentations that deliver digital strategy and new thinking into a clear story, across the agency as well as with clients
  • Agency enablement: Contribute to building out partnerships, cross-brand resources, and processes that allow clients and teams to get up to speed on digital trends/innovation and move quicker on digital opportunities
  • Entrepreneurship: Work alongside Experience Planning leadership to roll out new capabilities and offerings, as well as contribute to the overall growth and development of the team with your ideas and experiences

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Advanced-level thinking as a digital strategist with 10+ years of experience
  • The ability to turn data points into insights that lead to actionable recommendations
  • A solid, varied foundation in digital with fluency across SEO/SEM, web, mobile, and OLA
  • Fluency in digital and social analytics capabilities so that you can partner with our analytics team to set and evaluate KPIs
  • Fascination with the everchanging social and digital space – you don’t mind getting your hands dirty to experiment with new apps and technologies 
  • An entrepreneurial spirt looking to continually grow and push things to new places
  • The ability to explain things others may not always fully understand in a way that gets them excited about a channel, tactic, or innovation opportunity
  • A collaborative nature that is unafraid to tap others for their unique perspectives and points of view as part of your work process
  • Impeccable written, verbal communication, and storytelling skills 
  • Strong self-direction, motivation, and organization 
  • Pharmaceutical and healthcare experience (or experience in another regulated industry) is a major bonus

 

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

  • $170,000 - $191,800
