VP, Associate Director Social and Digital Strategy leads digital and social strategy for the agency.

He/she/they will work on strategy team to design and develop the digital and social strategy that is results oriented and aligns with our client’s business objective.


This position will report into the SVP, Director of Strategy



  • Lead our social media strategy including being up to date on social platforms (current and emerging), healthcare guidelines, and new trends
  • Understand social and digital targeting capabilities and vendors
    • Targeting capabilities across social platforms
    • Understand social media buying and relevant platforms (i.e. FB business manager and ads manager) as well as the Details of social formats
    • Social advertising policies for pharma brands (rules form platforms and how to handle ISI, etc.)
    • Social metrics and what is important to measure/how to interpret social data
    • Identifying new vendors (e.g. TIHealth for geotargeting)


  • Master the data tools that available for use (Meltwater, Emarketer, Pathmatics Helixa, etc) and leverage them to understand healthcare audiences, pull unique insights, and make digital and social recommendations
  • Be a social and digital advocate at P&P
    • Work collaboratively with teams to determine a brand’s role in social and how a brand meets business objectives in the social space
    • Craft presentation decks in partnership with Account including, digital strategy, content strategy, and overall social best practices
    • Initiate social planning and growth opportunities (new campaigns, new platforms, evolving content strategy, etc.)
    • Given the digital and social space's fast evolving nature, you will develop POVs on new social trends, behaviors, and technologies to give our clients valuable perspective on the social landscape in healthcare 
  • In person client travel is required


Qualifications and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of agency, consulting, or industry experience or equivalent
  • Pharmaceutical or healthcare experience strongly desired with a fundamental grasp of the constraints and opportunities within the category
  • A background in digital media is a huge plus
  • The successful candidate will have experience in digital and social strategy including:
    • Ability to utilize data and to create digital and social insights (not observations) and provide actionable recommendations
    • Understanding of paid digital strategies (OLA, SEM, Social Paid Media)
    • Able to design PPT or Keynote slides that engage an audience
    • Solid presentation skills, passion, and enthusiasm for educating clients on digital and social
